Renekton vs Yone · Top lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Yone is strong before level 3, and after level 6 his ultimate has high burst. Renekton can't fight without his ultimate, so play safe and wait for opportunities.

How a strong Yone player plays

  1. 1

Level 1 Q to proc Bone Plating

Yone will use his Q at level 1 to proc your Bone Plating, then hold his wind Q to pressure your last hits. Don't let him poke you for free.

  2. 2

    E trade and return

When Yone uses E to trade and returns, you can easily kill him with Red Fury W and Ignite. But be careful, he might interrupt your E with his wind Q.
