How a strong Illaoi player plays

    E on Last Hits

    Pro Illaoi will use E when you go for a last hit, exploiting your attack animation to land the tentacle grab, then follow up with a trade.

    Ultimate Counter

    When you ult, she will also ult to negate your CC and heal, making you unable to kill her. She will poke you down and wait for your ult to end before fighting back.

    W on Tentacles

    During trades, she will use W to slam a tentacle. If you get hit by the tentacle, you lose the trade. She will prioritize fighting near tentacles.
