Matchup plan

Take Second Wind rune for sustain in trades and lane. Secondary tree Sorcery (Scorch + Manaflow Band) instead of Inspiration for lane pressure. Summoner spell recommended: Ignite to significantly increase lane margin for error, as Ornn's damage is high and Ignite provides extra damage. First item Warden's Mail as a transition, then upgrade to Jak'Sho, The Protean. Second item Frozen Heart for effective tankiness and dueling. Starting item Refillable Potion, then buy Doran's Shield to draw minion aggro and push wave faster.

How a strong Darius player plays

    Bait Q for Trade

    Darius will fake a move to bait your Q, then after you use it, he'll step in to auto-attack and proc Brittle for a favorable trade.

  2. 2

    Punish Missed E

    Darius's E has a long cooldown. If he misses it, he lacks crowd control, so you can E in, then W to proc Brittle and trade.

  3. 3

    Pretend to Lose

    Darius will pretend to retreat to bait your chase, then turn around when your W is on cooldown to finish you off.
