After building Warmog's Armor, use the passive regen to become a sustain machine. Against tough early matchups, start Refillable Potion for extra sustain and buy an extra Control Ward.

How a strong Akali player plays

    Bait Shroud

    After level 6, Akali will hold her shroud waiting for you to use abilities. Walk up and auto-attack to bait it before comboing; otherwise, she'll use W to dodge damage.

    Dodge E Trades

    Akali uses E to retreat or engage. Watch her E cooldown when trading to avoid getting comboed back.
