Matchup plan

Take MR runes for survivability. Summoner spells: Flash + Ghost. Ghost can replace Teleport, more useful in teamfights. First recall: buy Sheen. After level 6, you can trade actively. Then build Trinity Force. With item advantage over Yasuo, take tower plates and look for kills.

Nasus plays safe until level 3, and after level 6 with Sheen, he can easily beat Yasuo. If Yasuo overextends, he's just feeding.

How a strong Yasuo player plays

  1. 1

    Early Pressure

At levels 1-2, Yasuo will frequently use E to dash in and harass. Keep your distance to farm, don't fight back, and endure until level 3.

  2. 2

    Bait the Tornado and Counter

When he's stacking his Q, intentionally get hit by the tornado to trigger Last Stand, then counterattack because his abilities are on cooldown.

  3. 3

    Lure Him to Chase

Pretend to be losing to bait his E, then cast W and follow up with E-A-Q. Use his chase to compensate for your short range.
