Summoner spells: Flash and Ignite. AP Nasus has low burst, so Ignite secures kills. Start Doran's Ring. First recall: prioritize Ionian Boots or Lost Chapter. First AP item: Cosmic Drive (gives ability haste, mana, and damage vs squishies due to ult magic pen). Good for split pushing. If ahead, get Rylai's for fun; if behind, rush Hullbreaker for tower taking. Before Rylai's or Demonic Embrace, buy Sheen for Q synergy. Later, Dead Man's Plate for map mobility; even vs AP, it helps split pushing. Post-6, swap to sweeper to clear Teemo's shrooms, limiting his vision and poke.

Rune variants

How a strong Teemo player plays

    Blinding Trades

    Teemo will use Q to blind you while you last hit, negating your auto-attacks, then poke you a few times.

    Mushroom Zone Control

    Teemo places mushrooms in bushes and near the minion wave to limit your movement, setting up dives with his jungler.

  3. 3

    Speed Kiting

    Teemo uses W to dodge your E, then kites you from a safe distance after your abilities are on cooldown.
