Take Cosmic Insight so your Flash is up faster than Vladimir's. You can proactively Flash for his Flash; even if you don't kill, it's a win. Against Vladimir, prioritize Oblivion Orb to reduce his healing. If the enemy mid, top, and support are all AP, build Force of Nature second for massive magic resist and survivability.

How a strong Vladimir player plays

    Empowered Q Poke

    Vladimir will stack his empowered Q and drain you when you step up. When you see his bar turn red, back off and run, don't let him drain you.

    Pool to Dodge

    He will use his pool to dodge your Q or ult, but pool costs current health percentage, so dodging Q is pointless; you still poke him.

  3. 3

    Ult to Clear Waves

    If he uses his ult to clear waves, it means he's under pressure. Keep pushing to force him back or dive; don't let him farm safely.
