Against Shen, runes: Grasp of the Undying, Demolish, Conditioning, Unflinching; secondary: Magical Footwear and Biscuit Delivery; shards: Magic Resist to counter Shen's Q percentage magic damage. Alternatively, since Malphite is less tanky than Shen, take Arcane Comet or Summon Aery to poke with Q. If Shen doesn't retaliate, keep poking; if he does, use E to reduce his attack speed and continue poking. First item: Sunfire Aegis to improve waveclear, as Shen lacks waveclear abilities.

Rune variants

  • 面对慎时，符文可以选择不灭之握、爆破、调节、坚定，副系鞋子饼干，小符文点出魔抗以应对慎对位Q技能的百分比魔法伤害。另一种思路是，由于石头人坦度不如慎，选择奥术彗星或艾黎，利用对位Q远程消耗，慎不反击就持续消耗，慎反击则开对位E减攻速后继续消耗。

How a strong Shen player plays

    Block Your Trades with W

    A good Shen will hold his W until you auto-attack him, blocking your Grasp of the Undying proc. Bait his W before trading.

  2. 2

    Bait Your Abilities with E

    Shen may suddenly walk forward to taunt you with E, or his jungler is coming. Step back to avoid being locked down.

  3. 3

    Ultimate Roam

    Shen will look for opportunities to ult his teammates. You must hard push and maintain vision. Interrupt his ult with your R when he casts it.
