How a strong Riven player plays

  1. 1

    Bait W, then counterattack

    Riven will use W to poke first. Wait 4-5 seconds after she uses W before engaging; without W, her damage is low and she's easy to kite.

  2. 2

    Hit level 6 first and all-in

    Riven will watch XP. If you hit 6 later than her, she'll ult and combo you, using her ultimate advantage to pressure.
