You can take Grasp of the Undying and Teleport, along with Triple Tonic and Cosmic Insight, focusing on wave management and sustain. After building Sheen and Dagger, you enter a strong phase where you can actively jump on Darius to trade. Even if the trade looks unfavorable, the wave position advantage will make Darius hesitant to fight back. After building Sundered Sky, Sheen-proc autos count as two attacks, stacking your R passive faster and dealing high damage.

How a strong Darius player plays

    W-Q start to bait E

    Darius may start with W-Q (no auto animation) to catch you off guard, then use his E to cancel your E and land W for bleed stacks.

    Turn-around outer Q poke

    After getting Plated Steelcaps and Phage, Darius will turn around to hit you with the outer ring of Q, then auto-W to kite. Don't stand and fight.

  3. 3

    E-Q counter when you have minion disadvantage

    If you jump on Darius when he has many minions, he will E-Q, and minion aggro will hurt you a lot.
