    Back off when W is down

    When Mordekaiser has no W, he won't dare to trade. Push the wave and take lane priority; he can't withstand your damage.

    Bait with E

    He will use E to force you to dodge with Q. If you get hit, he follows up with passive and Q, and you lose the trade.

    Dive at level-up timing

    He will time his level 6. If you have a level advantage and he's about to hit 6 from minions, dive him immediately; he's helpless.
