How a strong Irelia player plays

    Fight back if stunned by E

    Irelia will cast E when you last hit, stun you and Q in for a combo. If stunned, back off and trade back when her abilities are on cooldown.

    Opportunity when Q is on cooldown

    Irelia is weak when Q is on cooldown. Use your range to poke with AQA twice; your damage outtrades her QE combo, and she can only take it.

  3. 3

    Sustain poke after R

    After Irelia uses R, she's less threatening. Keep poking with AQA, proc your three-hit speed boost to chase, and she can't escape.
