Take Ignite to proc Nimbus Cloak for bonus move speed, aiding chase or trades with E and Q. Starting item depends on Nasus's runes: if he takes Fleet Footwork, Conqueror, or Grasp (normal Q stacking), start Doran's Blade; if he takes Arcane Comet, Summon Aery, or First Strike (max E poke), start Doran's Shield. Garen can easily bully Nasus early game; using Q to cleanse Wither renders Nasus useless. Before level 6, Garen can deny Nasus from even getting experience.

How a strong Nasus player plays

    Holds W until you Q

    Nasus will hold his Wither until you use Q, then slow you and counter-attack. Don't use Q recklessly.

    Max E poke breaks passive

    Nasus maxes E with Scorch to poke constantly, preventing your passive regen. Start Doran's Shield.

  3. 3

    Ult + Ghost chase

    When Nasus ults and Ghosts after you, use Stridebreaker to slow him and speed yourself up; re-engage after his ult ends.
