Consider Shield Bash to utilize Mordekaiser's shield for extra damage in trades. Aim for Hexdrinker before level 6; with it, you can kill Mordekaiser when pulled. Upgrade to Maw of Malmortius if ahead. If enemy jungler is also AP, rush Maw.

How a strong Mordekaiser player plays

  1. 1

    Q to hit both minions and you

    Mordekaiser will Q both minions and you at level 1; dodge it.

  2. 2

    Reverse E then ult

    After 6, he'll reverse E to pull you behind him, then ult to lock terrain and auto-attack.

  3. 3

    Shield at one-third HP

    He'll activate W shield early when around one-third HP to avoid being burst by Darius.
