Secondary tree: Biscuit Delivery and Time Warp Tonic for sustain, combined with Grasp for poke. Take Second Wind instead of Bone Plating because Irelia's E and W easily break Bone Plating; Second Wind is more consistent. You can also take Conqueror for auto-attack trades against Irelia, using your passive shield and W to trade. In high elo, you must take Teleport; otherwise, you'll lose too much wave control. Enhance laning poke ability.

How a strong Irelia player plays

    Q minion to trade

    Irelia will use Q on minions to close distance, using autos and E to set up low-health minion jumps, trading low health for high health.

  2. 2

    Bait your E then counter

    Irelia will fake an auto attack and turn back to bait your E, then hit you with her E stun.

  3. 3

    E limits your E direction

    Irelia lands E directly on you, forcing your E to only dash onto her, making escape impossible.
