How a strong Illaoi player plays

    Bait your E to pull soul

    Good Illaoi players will deliberately bait your E, then pull your soul with their E after you miss, using tentacles to poke you down.

  2. 2

    Chase with W

    When he has W, he will jump on you with W while you last hit or when your passive shield is down, trading heavily in his favor.

  3. 3

    Ultimate counter-engage at 6

    After 6, he ults to slam the ground, dealing massive tentacle damage. If you ult to dodge tentacles, he may exhaust or flash away, wasting your ult.
