Summoner spells: you can take Exhaust or Barrier instead of Flash. Aurelion Sol has low reliance on Flash, and Exhaust/Barrier provide better self-peel with lower cooldown. Rylai's Crystal Scepter is core. After completing it, your kiting and chasing power greatly increases, allowing you to poke Nasus with slows during laning phase. Rod of Ages is not suitable for Aurelion Sol.

How a strong Nasus player plays

  1. 1

    Wither slow limits flight

    Nasus will use Wither to slow you because your W flight distance scales with movement speed; slowed, you can't fly far.

  2. 2

    Kill during W cooldown

    Nasus's Wither cooldown is 4-5 seconds shorter than your W. He will wait for you to use W, then wither and kill you.

  3. 3

    Fake passivity to bait Q

    Nasus may intentionally let you stack your passive with Q, then suddenly strike when you let your guard down.
