Against Amumu, Tahm takes Glacial Augment at level 1, using passive slow and Q to stick to the opponent. If Amumu engages with Q, you can counter and kill. Alternatively, take Arcane Comet with Bone Plating secondary for poke and survivability. If Amumu plays aggressively early, build AP items (e.g., Hextech Alternator) to increase damage, using W and Q combo for high burst.

    At level 1, Amumu has Q and passive as two controls. He will try to get close and invade with ADC. Don't let him near.

    After he uses his skills, he becomes a super minion. Counter with W and Q combo; he can't take your damage.

    Dodge Q with Movement

    Amumu's Q is a skillshot. Dodge it with movement. If he misses Q, his threat drops significantly, and you can poke him.
