Blitzcrank vs Nautilus · Support matchup

01

Core game plan

Nautilus can block your hook, and his counter-engage is stronger. If you miss your hook, you're in trouble. Against a same-skill opponent, you have to play passively.

How a strong Nautilus player plays

  1. 1

Hook Wall to Cancel or Counter

Nautilus can hook a wall to cancel your Q, or land his Q on you, then auto-attack to root you, allowing his ADC to follow up.

  2. 2

Shield to Absorb Damage and Bait Skills

Nautilus uses his W shield to absorb damage during trades, baiting you to use your shield. Wait for his shield to expire before fighting.

  3. 3

    Abuse Level Advantage to Poke

Nautilus will use his level advantage to poke you aggressively. Be careful not to let him harass you for free.
