Vladimir vs Vex · Mid lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Vladimir has sustain and Sanguine Pool to dodge abilities, making it hard for Vex to win trades. After level 2, it's easy.

How a strong Vex player plays

  1. 1

    E forces Pool

Vex uses E to force your W (Pool), then trades two abilities for your one while Pool is on cooldown.

  2. 2

    Q poke through minions

He uses Q to poke both you and minions, using Lost Chapter to sustain pressure on your health.

  3. 3

    R Flash W Q E Ignite combo

When you're low on health with no potions and no R, he'll use R Flash W Q E Ignite for a burst combo, fearing you first so you can't use W.
