Take Electrocute to pressure him with Q-A combos. Two Q-As force him back or kill him. After building Banshee's Veil, you can tank his damage; he can't hurt you. No need for mana regen items because your skills are used to poke rather than waveclear, and mana is sufficient.

How a strong Hwei player plays

    Level 1 E push for level 2

    He will take E at level 1 to push fast. The faster he pushes, the bigger his advantage, making it hard for you to last hit.

    Diagonal EQE full combo

    He will use a diagonal EQE combo on you, dealing nearly 80% of your HP.

    Approach when your E is down

    When your E is on cooldown, he will step forward to trade a combo.
