Mel vs Twisted Fate · Mid lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Mel's W perfectly counters Twisted Fate. She can dominate him from level 2 onward; Twisted Fate won't dare to trade aggressively, making laning easy.

How a strong Twisted Fate player plays

  1. 1

    Bait W and Shield

A skilled Twisted Fate will deliberately use Red or Gold Card to bait your W, then call his jungler to gank and kill you after you use your shield.

  2. 2

    Passive Poke and Kite

When Twisted Fate has his passive stacked, he will keep his distance and poke you with Q while you last hit, denying you the chance to reflect with W.

  3. 3

    Roam and Push Towers

After being pressured in lane, Twisted Fate will directly ult to roam sidelanes. If you follow slowly, he gets kills; if you push tower, he takes dragon.
