Against Vladimir, Electrocute is suboptimal; switch to more suitable runes for better trading efficiency. If you get an early lead against Vladimir, prioritize Hextech Rocketbelt to solidify the advantage and avoid dying and losing XP/gold. Rocketbelt is good when ahead, synergizes with Electrocute, and provides safety, but you'll lack mana. If the enemy team has skilled players and you struggle to survive, choose Zhonya's Hourglass as second item over Horizon Focus for survivability and a second rotation. With Boots of Swiftness and movement speed runes, it's easier to kite Vladimir.
