Take Electrocute, max E, and use minions to block Lux's Q before trading. Alternatively, take First Strike and Doran's Blade to generate extra gold from Lux's Q poke. Rush CDR boots for movespeed to help laning and dodging. Protobelt greatly improves survivability; consider it core. For maximum damage, prioritize Horizon Focus and Void Staff, then CDR boots. Mejai's can be built after Void Staff.

How a strong Lux player plays

    E poke

    Lux will walk up to poke you with E and autos, taking half your HP at level 1. Keep distance.

    Q control

    Lux will exploit your aggression after burning flash, pretending to misposition to bait you into trading, then turn on you.
