Matchup plan

When building AP, Stormraider's Surge is very suitable. After your combo, you get a speed boost to disengage, and Cassiopeia can't catch you. Itemization depends on the situation and team composition; tank items are not just for trolling.

Galio vs Cassiopeia · Mid lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Cassiopeia has high mana costs early; you can push and roam while she struggles to follow. After you complete Imperial Mandate, your burst is too much for her, and you can easily kill her with your jungler.

How a strong Cassiopeia player plays

  1. 1

    Level 1 Q poke

Cassiopeia takes Q at level 1 and uses it to poke you while you last hit, stacking her Tear.

  2. 2

W to block path and solo kill

When the jungler shows bot, Cassiopeia will use W to block your escape, land Q, then push forward to cut off your retreat and use her ult to solo kill you.

  3. 3

    E as bait

Cassiopeia won't use E on you recklessly, because if she does, you can E into her and W taunt, making it hard for her to escape.
