Take Arcane Comet against Fizz because it synergizes with your two-part Q for consistent poke, while Conqueror and Electrocute are hard to stack or deal enough damage. Secondary: Bone Plating to mitigate Fizz's all-in burst, making trades more favorable with Arcane Comet. Max Q then W. W increases Q's percent bonus damage; E has low damage and high mana cost, so don't max it second.

How a strong Fizz player plays

  1. 1

    Bait E to trade

    Fizz will wait for you to use Q or last-hit to dodge with E, then counter-attack. His E has a long cooldown; after baiting it, it's your window.

  2. 2

    Q engage trade

    He often uses Q to gap-close, then W auto-attack to trade, especially after you use Q. Keep distance and don't let him get close.

  3. 3

    R to force Flash or kill

    After 6, Fizz will use R to force your Flash or set up a gank. Watch your positioning and avoid the shark.
