Sion takes Shield Bash against Annie, gaining bonus auto-attack damage (10-20+) when shielded. He takes Unflinching for bonus armor and MR when crowd-controlled. He takes Approach Velocity to close the gap faster after slowing you. Sion builds Mercury's Treads first against Annie for a more comfortable lane. If he wants to roam, he saves his ultimate for ganking bot instead of using it to return to lane.

How a strong Sion player plays

    Don't waste W

    Sion won't use his first W carelessly, or he'll struggle with wave management. He saves it to block your abilities or to last-hit.

    Q clears waves fast

    Sion's Q damage was buffed; one Q can clear the wave. His push is decent, so don't expect to mindlessly shove.

  3. 3

    Ultimate for roam

    Sion may save his ultimate for ganking bot instead of returning to lane. Ping your team if he goes missing.
