Ahri vs Yasuo · Mid lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Yasuo is too strong at level 1, so you have to play safe and farm early. After level 6, you have a chance, but his Wind Wall is annoying. Overall, it's a tough matchup.

At level 1, check Yasuo's runes; if he doesn't have Second Wind, trade with auto-attacks.During laning, watch for Yasuo's Wind Wall; poke with Q and keep distance. After 6, use your ultimate to roam and help other lanes. In mid game, prioritize roaming to leverage Ahri's mobility. In teamfights, look to charm a key target and follow up with your team.

    Strong Level 1 Pressure

Yasuo is extremely strong at level 1; he will poke you with Q, making you afraid to CS. Just wait for the wave to crash into your tower.

  2. 2

    Wind Wall Blocks Abilities

After level 6, he will save his Wind Wall to block your E or R. Your kill window is when his Wind Wall is on cooldown.

  3. 3

He will use minions to dash onto you, trade, then dash back, making it hard for you to retaliate.
