Matchup plan

Use the Sixth Sense rune to check if you are visible to the enemy, then plan pathing to invade around vision. If the enemy team has many tanks and you have good DPS uptime, take Red Pet + Kraken Slayer for max damage. If there are assassins or long-range threats to your DPS, take Green Pet + Trinity Force for max survivability.

How a strong Nidalee player plays

  1. 1

    Javelin Poke

Nidalee will frequently poke you with her Q Javelin. Watch your positioning to dodge; if hit, her cougar form burst is high.

  2. 2

    Trap Denial

Nidalee places W traps at key intersections. Stepping on one reveals you and marks you. Avoid or clear traps.

  3. 3

    Level 3 Invasion

Nidalee starts E, clears Raptors → Gromp → Red, then invades your jungle at level 3 with high mobility. Defend early.
