Take Lethal Tempo level 1 to auto-pressure Kai'Sa, force flash, then focus support to establish HP advantage. First item Serpent's Fang to counter Kai'Sa's shield. Later, if lacking damage, build armor pen; otherwise you can't hurt anyone. If enemy has many assassins, go hybrid: Guinsoo's, Tabi, Titanic, Wit's End, last item Blade of the Ruined King if need damage, else tank item.

How a strong Kai'Sa player plays

    Use E to dodge skills

    Kai'Sa will use E to dodge your Q and E, but your E has delayed detonation, so blight still stacks. Don't be afraid of her dodging.

    Late game R dive

    Late game, Kai'Sa will R onto you and burst with her team. Save R or wait for CC before dealing damage.

  3. 3

    Auto-Q poke

    Kai'Sa will auto-Q you while you CS. Keep distance to avoid free trades.
