Matchup plan

Take Conqueror. Don't take Bloodline or Alacrity because Q's attack speed was nerfed; you need Alacrity to compensate. Build Infinity Edge and Shieldbow; otherwise, you'll be too squishy at three items. Also, max E before Q in the current patch.

Nilah vs Tristana · Bot lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Nilah has short range; early game she suffers from Tristana pushing and denying CS. She can only turn the tables by hitting level 3 under tower; otherwise, it's a rough lane.

How a strong Tristana player plays

  1. 1

    E poke

Tristana will place E on you while you last-hit, then auto-attack a few times to detonate and chunk you.

  2. 2

    All-in burst

When your HP is low, she will W onto you, place E and activate Q to quickly stack burst, finishing with Ignite.

  3. 3

    Push for level 2

Tristana starts Q to push fast, hits level 2 first, then jumps on you with a full combo, forcing your summoners.
