How a strong Thresh player plays

  1. 1

    Poke with Q through minions

    He will try to hook you through minion gaps while you last-hit. If it lands, he follows up with E for a full combo.

  2. 2

    Level 1 E harass

    He takes E at level 1, walks past minions to harass you with E and Ignite, forcing your summoners. After hitting level 2, he becomes even more aggressive.

  3. 3

    Back off after missing Q

    If he misses Q, retreat immediately. You have no counterplay, and he will wait for cooldowns to try again.
